I suppose it is easier to negotiate with clubs in terms of planning, logistics, than with national football associations.

Having said that, I think national teams play one another only when there is some impending tournaments to prepare e.g. like World Cup, Asian Cup.

Anyway, in accordance to FAS' 6-year strategic plan (FAS launch Strategic Plan for 2010-2015 to take Singapore football to next level), playing against 2nd-tier European clubs will provide the players with the exposure and experience, without the discouragement of being thrashed (like against the likes of European national teams)...

Speaking of the Strategic Plan, any thread about it in this forum?

Either way, they'll all be on holiday.

Vojvodina finished 5th in last season's league, just missed Europa League qualification and has the league's last season top scorer and Serbian international, Dragan Mrda. Club also have internationals from Macedonia, Montenegro, Georgia and Ghana.

Jagodina finished just below Vojvodina in the league last season. Consist of players, well, mostly from Serbia.
    no shit, sherlock
