Hope so too...but its a shame we not getting any 'A' internationals in europe. Tough I guess as we aren't big nation to arrange friendlies with european national team

if the tour is in Sept, then it will be difficult as it is not a FIFA approved date.. neither will top clubs play us as the domestic league had started... unless in August??

What talking you? They're afraid of us....
Baring their hearts,oh those glorious souls

Kinda un-appealing to see our national team take on club size in Non-A internationals; it doesn't helping us get FIFA rankings and we never know the stds of the club.

I don't believe we cannot get a friendly match against sides like Estonia or Northern Ireland, or even Macedonia. It all depends on whether we have the contacts or are willing to pay.

Default National Team to tour Serbia

To prepare for the assignments ahead, the Football Association of Singapore has lined up a 10-day training trip to Serbia in August.

National coach Avramovic revealed that the Lions are likely to face the Serbian Olympic team, and also Serbia Superliga clubs OFK Beograd and Spartak Zlatibor Voda,

Although they may not be names that roll off the tongue easily, OFK Beograd and Spartak Zlatibor Voda are lying in third and fourth spot in the top division and are in contention for an Europa League spot.

OFK Beograd also boast a reputable youth system that has natured many former Yugoslavian internationals like Sasa Curcic and current Serbian internationals such as Chelsea right-back Branislav Ivanovic, who was voted into the 2010 PFA Team of the Year.

Prior to the Serbia trip, the Lions are likely to play a series of friendlies against top-notch opposition after the World Cup.

Among them are English teams Burnley, and possibly Cardiff City.

OFK Beograd and Spartak Zlatibor Voda are 3rd and 4th in Serbian Super League, both will play in next season's Europa League.
