Fazrul is the player who improved the most in 2012..

However, based on the performance in the MSL and limited time he got in the Suzuki Cup, he seems to be back to his usual self..

Thus, it may be a blessing in disguise that he is sent off..

Seem to me that during the start of the season Sundram focused all his attention on training the boys to defend as a unit which paid off as they shut out Selangor and ATM who had a go at the LionsXII.

Unfortunately when they meet a team who decided to go into a shell, the boys seemed lost on what to do when given the opportunity to attack. For the 3rd consecutive game, the Lions missed a glorious one on one opportunity when it was easier to score. As a result, the boys fell to a sucker punch from PKNS. Credit to PKNS for getting their tactics right and what a shot it was! Well deserving of a match winner.

And Fazrul, what was he doing with that tackle?? If that was one of the younger players, i might understand as he still got a long way to go. But a senior like Fazrul? That was stupid and i hope that Sundram tears into him for doing it. He let his team down last night and we might feel the repercussions for the next few games as well.
