ZaoBao: 只引进两名新兵 甘柏要至少保住第三名According to (John) Yap, the club's average attendance last year was around 2,500 and he has noticed many are strong followers. He said: "Over the last couple of years, I kept noticing many familiar faces in the stands. Our target this year is to do as well as last year, but our philosophy is always the same: Play good, attractive attacking football."

Re: Gombak United 2010
From the TODAY article.
I rmbr before they dropped out of the league, in the late 1990s, they had Shakey's Pizza emblazoned on the front of their jerseys right? Wasn't that a main sponsor? At a press conference yesterday, club chairman John Yap announced they are on the verge of sealing a deal with a main sponsor for the first time in the Bulls' history in the S-League.

Re: Gombak United 2010
They suffered big time due to Shakey Pizza and they were in their first season in the S League. There was some contractual dispute with Shakey and Gombak had to compensate them a hefty sum of $$. It was also the beginning of the end for the "Gombak United version 1". Since then they stayed away from main sponsors until that Chinese Property Developer few years ago.
