Re: Brunei DPMM FC 2009
With due respect, I personally think that the S League got their 10 top leagues in Asia due to its management, not quality of their football. What i mean is the behind the scene work. So professional. Team list 60minutes before match, match report after each game, fax to FIFA, all the reports and all. That whats count. Quality wise, sorry to say, i dont think its better than the Msian League YET... S League got good people working in it, how many of them have have been taken to work with AFC? How many Singaporeans are now running the AFC team. It helps to have ur people in AFC...
I must remind that DPMM is just a club, there were once the most hated team in this country. It was fun during their Brunei League days. They set the standards and local teams had to give chase to them. Other clubs weren't far behind until they decided to ditch it and play in M League. DPMM had excellent imports compared to other clubs which cant afford one.
So if you follow the local football scene, not for the johnny come lately, its great how DPMM can now attract the crowds, even finishing 3rd in the M League cant attract that crowd... must be Simunic
Good Luck to DPMM FC, its not the money...you must remember how u people said how can a team that finished 10th in the M League can be good for the S League... Top 5 finish here we come!

Re: Brunei DPMM FC 2009
Biawak bro ermm.. we are just in round 1.. honestly speaking I object your personal thinking reagarding the quality the m-league has, I admit we have won through all the games but it is not good idea to conclude the whole chapter now. All S-league club dont know what/how Dpmm fc type/style of play yet.. and even my self , i am not happy the way they play the ball.. they didnt win any ball possession, but lucky they are damn good at counter attack and yet produced 3 points. But it is just for now.. what next we dont know..
My personnal thought is they (their clubs) are good, we are only managed to win the game by 1 goal, which show they are strong than the m-league teams.. And please bear in mind, they are still more match to go and Dpmm is most of the time gonna play away match than home match.. (remember it is a wake up call) and im sure others club is waiting to thrash them and prove to us why they are awarded "10 top leagues in Asia".. Not just for nothing..
Well i am just to remind that it is a long way to go.. And football is a strange thing and anything might change..
Peace.. Just to share ..
p/s: jg marah aaa hehehe

i know what you mean... but lets enjoy it while it lasts... without trying to say that we own S-league, because we dont! and everyone knows that. Cus deep inside every dpmm supporter (like me) has a feeling that sooner or later they are bound to lose a game... after all, they are just people like us playing football. they are not perfect. Mistakes and injuries will come and bite us in the arse..

We all can have our own opinions regarding which league is the best, just as how we can compare the premier league and la liga and vice versa

Is it time for the Shebby Singh South East Asia League?
