Re: Super Reds 2009
they hadnt been defeated badly, only lost to SAFFC 1-0. So they arent weak either. Probably the same kindda life as Home Utd now.

Super Reds lost 2-1 to DPMM....I think they need a good striker...
They play beautiful football though...Young Lions should learn from them...
Just an idea, wouldn't it be good if a couple of Young Lions players play for Super Reds? These player will then pick up some valuable skills from the Korean..

Re: Super Reds 2009
They seemed to be sorely missing Dhogyi upfront for attacks... Choi Dong Soo looks strong but has poor finishing

Re: Super Reds 2009
I think you check again later. I've noticed some errors in the match details posted on Sleague.com in other matches too.
They normally check it again and make corrections."It reminds me of stale bean soup, of college yells, of dogs barking idiotically through endless nights. It is so bad that a sort of grandeur creeps into it. It drags itself out of the dark abysm of pish, and crawls insanely up the topmost pinnacle of posh. It is rumble and bumble. It is flap and doodle. It is balder and dash." H L Mencken

Re: Super Reds 2009
The way I see is this:
- Some of the players may have K-League playing experience, but cannot play in the first team. They want to play more, but not willing to go to the semi-pro N-League, so they come here loh. Their ultimate aim is still the K-League.
- Some of the players may be the ultimate reserves in K-League, i.e. whole season at most sit on bench, heng heng come out 1 min, otherwise sit there the whole season. They want to go to N-League, but not enough match fitness, so they come. Their aim may be to go back and play in the N-League, and try their luck in the K-League again.
- The others may just be not good enough to play as a foreigner in the S-League, so it's the clubs that aren't interested, not the players.

Re: Super Reds 2009
Well Doggy's signing at DPMM was met with lukewarm responses from fans and club officials alike, which may be a blessing in disguise that no S League club went on to sign him in close season.
With the exception of Park Tae-Won, Korean foreign signings had paled in comparison to Japanese, Thai, Eastern European, Aussie and African ones.
