Helping to spread some awareness here..some of you readers might have heard of little Charmaine's plight.

Charmaine has neuroblastoma, a form of cancer and is at her 4th stage of chemo now. Her condition is very serious as the cancer has spread to her bone marrow and bones. She is four, slightly older than my Joy. Charmaine's medical treatment will cost a lot of money. About half a million dollars as an upfront deposit to send her to New York for treatment.

All of us here can help by coming down to the match between Malaysia Cup Veterans and Celebrity Team at Tampines Stadium this Sunday, 28 June 2009. Kick-off at 5pm. Only $10 per ticket.

Actually rather than thinking about what we can't do, let's see what we can do:

• Attend the match. $10/person only. Times are hard, I know. But maybe one less lavish meal will do. Those who can affors can give more lah...
• Spread the news. Let everyone who knows you know about this. Your boss, teachers, classmates, friends, gf/bf, gf/bf's friend... The more people know, the more will give and higher the chance of success.
• Medical personnel: Just wondering if there is a cheaper alternative for Charmaine elsewhere, perhaps even in Singapore? Or even in Australia... (Yes, yes, yes, DudeCCK, I'm thinking about you )

Let's get going to give her a chance and makes thing better.

Another idea. You all know lah, Hungry Ghost Festival in 2 months, maybe can gather some help from the people organising these festival prayers/celebrations, then when they can auction a few item for her as well...

If ministers cheap in 10% of their monthly pay, solve all problem.
