So Singapore u-23 is in Myanmar.

The Myanmar selection is also very much u-23. 99% of them are, if not all. It's pretty much their Sea Games squad last year. National team and Sea Games team is not much of difference for Myanmar.

No pressure on Myanmar from my point of view. Singapore is pretty effective as seen in Sea Games. It's Asian Games team vs. Sea Games team with a little older. I think Singapore is trying to play against different styles of football more than outright experience, 'cos Myanmar players are not much more experienced than Singapore u-23 anyway.

And there's no Myo Min Tun, Tun Tun Win, Paing Soe (this guy is actually a standard dribbler) or Yan Paing in the rough team selections, so I guess the coach is bringing in new talents.

OOOOOHHHH!!! hahaha. So they need to win to impress so they could play in Asian Games. LOL.

What a strategy. Smart moves. I thought what.

Myanmar are beatable but because Myanmar are not too horrible, it'd also save face. So it's a win-win situation going into the game, unless they lose. But smart. Instead of playing with Japan u-23 or smallest u-23 teams.

I have a feeling Singapore will win. They beat Malaysia sea games champion team? That's impressive.

    They MIGHT just lose.

No Hariss Harun in the squad, no Seo Su Jong, no Luka Savic. Do we really have to depend on Fadhil Noh?

Oh but wait, he IS Fadhil Noh!

    Second match lost 2-1 too.

    Myo Min Tun 3', 70'

    D'Cruz 90'+ injury time

    For first game

    D'Cruz 44'

    Yazar Win Thein 60'
    Mai Ai Naing 75'

Since this is a Myanmar thread, I guess I'd write on Myanmar.
    --------------------------------

Paing Soe (sometimes written as Pai Soe) and Tun Tun Win of Yadanarbon did not play in both teams. They are key players in both U-23, NT and Yadanarbon.

Myanmar U-23 line-up for first match.

    1) ThiHa SiThu (GK) already NT goalkeeper replacing or comes in for Aung Aung Oo.
    2) Yan Aung Win
    3) Moe Win (already NT defender)
    4) Aye San (possible NT defender)
    5) Shwe Hlaing Win (possible NT left winger)
    6) Lu Aye Htwe
    7) Yan Aung Kyaw
    8) Aung Myint Aye (possible NT selection)
    9) Kyaw Ko Ko (probably be called up for NT regularly as winger and forward)
    10) Yazar Win Thein (already NT forward)
    21) Thein Than Win

    Subs

    11) Naing Naing Lin
    12) Kyaw Kyaw Moe
    13) San Min
    14) Min Min Thu (very possible NT call up as forward)
    15) Soe Min Oo (already called up in NT as striker)
    16) Ye Wai Yan Soe
    17) Tin Win Aung (possible NT player)
    18) Zar Ne Min
    19) Kyaw Zeyar Win (rotates in NT)
    20) Mai Ai Naing (new SEA Games striker and possible called up for NT)
    22) Tun Lin Aung (possible call up in NT)
    23) Naing Lin Tun

Myanmar NT line up for second match. The later part of first half was a dull.

    1) Nyi Nyi Lwin (GK)
    2) Min Thu
    4) Zaw Lin Tun
    14)Kyaw Khine Win
    5) Khin Maung Lwin
    6) Aung Kyaw Moe
    7) Kyaw Ko Ko
    8) Lwin Oo
    9) Yan Paing
    10) Yazar Win Thein
    11) Myo Min Tun (missed last year's Sea Games due to injury but will not play in 2011 sea games, no longer u-23 player)

    Subs

    3) Htay Aung
    12) Khin Maung Tun (Yadanarbon's captain but seems like his right back position is threatened in NT)
    13) Win Min Htut
    15) Ni Maung Maung Aung
    16) Zaw Htet Aung
    17)Aye San
    18) Kyaw Zin Htet (Sea Games 2007 starting keeper, Sea Games 2009 sub keeper)
    19) Kyaw Thura (Yangon Utd's reserve team's top scorer, scored equal amount or more goals than the matches he played, lazy to research, but i'm pretty sure of it. He's a first team player but relegated to reserve team due to Kone Mohamed and another foreigner being the top strikers for Yangon last season and also this season they have new foreign players)
    20) Naing Oo Lwin (Yangon Utd's local striker)

    First game

Myanmar attacked dominated the opening exchanges getting chances. Then Singapore gained control of the game in the later first half and scored before half time.

Then Myanmar made about 5 substitutions and got 2 goals in second half and created chances. Then near the end, Singapore pressed to equalize but failed to score.

    Second game

Myanmar scored in 3rd minute. But Myanmar just kept possession caused the game to be dull and the game was in the midfield. Singapore created chances later in the first half but both sides failed to score.

After the break, Myanmar created another goal through Yan Paing and Myo Min Tun.

Some Myanmar players were tired and un-interested, and Singapore made substitutions.

Singapore pressed later in the second-half to equalize and got the goal in injury time.

Seems like Singapore played well and almost all players played. Raddy said only about 5 players played full match in either or both games.
